Regent Park Votes
Hey Regent Park – it’s time to vote!
A total of $26.8 million will be invested in Regent Park over the next 10 to 15 years. You get to help decide how it will be used!
This money is made possible by Tridel, TCHC’s developer partner for Phases 4 and 5 of the Regent Park revitalization project.
Since 2023, TCHC and Tridel have been working with the Regent Park community to hear about what matters most to the community – as well as where and how the $26.8 million should be used. People shared their thoughts through surveys, meetings, and community events. We also consulted key community reports. All of this helped shape three Community Benefits Packages.
Now, the community will vote to help determine the preferred Community Benefits Package.
The Community Benefits Package that receives the highest overall ranking across all ballots and more than 50 percent of the votes will become part of a legally binding agreement between TCHC and Tridel, called the Community Benefits Agreement (CBA).
The agreement will make sure the selected benefits are delivered throughout the revitalization. The CBA will be monitored with regular updates provided to the community.
