We believe that giving young residents the opportunity to attend a postsecondary education or training institution will empower them to become young leaders who will improve their communities.

Investing in Our Diversity Scholarship (IIODS)

Available to all tenants 29 years old or younger.

Alexandra Park Revitalization Scholarship

Available to Atkinson Co-op residents and TCHC Alexandra Park tenants. (Opens in a new tab)

Don Summerville Scholarship

Available to Don Summerville tenants who are post-secondary students of any age.

Regent Park Scholarship

Available to eligible TCHC tenants ages 17 and older from our Regent Park community.

Past Scholarship Programs

Building our Future: Limitless Heights Scholarship

The Building our Future: Limitless Heights Scholarship program is now closed. From 2013 to 2021, 145 scholarships and bursaries were awarded to eligible residents of all ages from the Lawrence Heights and Neptune communities for their demonstrated passion for community building. This scholarship was possible thanks to funding provided by Heights Development, a co-venture of Context and Metropia and our developer partner for the phase 1 revitalization of our Lawrence Heights community.

Leslie Nymark and Allenbury Gardens Scholarships 

The scholarships for the Leslie Nymark and Allenbury Gardens communities closed in 2024. Both scholarships launched in 2019 as part of their respective revitalizations. For Leslie Nymark, our developer partner Tridel awarded $90,123 for 28 scholarships, five of which were two-time awards. For Allenbury Gardens, TCHC’s developer partner FRAM awarded $10,500 for 15 scholarships, that included two two-time awards. Thanks to the generosity of Tridel and FRAM, we have helped 36 students achieve their academic goals and set them on a path for success.
