Accommodation supports during voting
Proxy voting
You can pick one specific person to cast your vote if you are not able to vote on your scheduled election day or during the advanced voting days.
If you are interested in proxy voting, you will need to complete the Tenant Elections Proxy form (PDF). Contact your local Tenant Participation Coordinator (TPC) to choose your proxy.
Interpretation or translation
You can request interpretation services (including American Sign Language) for any elections-related activities. You can also request translated versions of any written materials.
You must request translation or interpretation support at least 10 days in advance through your TPC. Please make your requests as soon as possible as services are not guaranteed.
Assisted voting
During this process, a tenant can be supported by another person to help them vote for their preferred candidate(s).
If a tenant needs assistance at a polling station, staff will require that the tenant and the person that is helping them sign a consent form, the Declaration for Assisted Voting form (PDF). These forms will also be available at the polling stations.
Tenants can also request that a ballot be delivered to their unit. This request must be made by Friday, October 10, 2025 by contacting your TPC.
