TCHC announces hiring of permanent Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Facilities Management
Toronto Community Housing welcomes Yves Cheung and Noah Slater to its Executive Leadership team.
Toronto Community Housing has completed the recruitment for both the Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Facilities Management.
Yves Cheung will be joining TCHC as Chief Development Officer, starting June 2, 2025. Yves has held senior leadership roles at Tricon, Empire Communities, Mattamy, and Tridel, leading the development of rental, condominium, and mixed-use communities. He brings expertise in public-private partnerships, structuring financial transactions, securing government funding, and integrating sustainability into projects. At Tricon, Yves helped deliver mixed-income and affordable housing as part of the Canary Landing community. He also spearheaded the development of Toronto’s first smart residential building, Ten York, pioneering advanced technologies and sustainable design.
Noah Slater has accepted the role of Vice President of Facilities Management, starting May 22, 2025. Noah is a former TCHC employee, having served as Senior Director of Capital Planning, Design and Engagement from July 2016 to July 2022. Noah is a licensed architect with over twenty years of experience in the field and for the last decade, he has been focused on building, renewing and improving public housing assets at TCHC and the City of Toronto.
