Kids and youth
37 Kids Program
- Employment based initiative providing exposure to community development practices in relation to revitalization and community engagement.
- 37 Kids is a six-week summer employment program (July 2 to August 8) in Lawrence Heights for youth ages 13 and 14.
- All 25 Positions have been filled for summer 2025

Community Program Leaders
- A paid leadership opportunity and pipeline that provides hands on program delivery and engagement for 37 Kids participants.
- Four Community Program Leader positions have been filled for summer 2025 (June 16 to August 8).

Revite NERDs (Neighbourhood Experts in Revitalization Development)
- Engaging local youth in educational and leadership development, specifically in relation to revitalization
- The Revite NERDs program has both a volunteer and a paid employment component.
- 10 Positions have been filled for 2025.

- Eight-week corporate summer employment program for youth, 14 to18 years. Youth Community Workers (YCWs) work in TCHC communities doing light building cleaning and community outreach and special projects.

Investing in Our Diversity Scholarship (IIODS)
- Investing in Our Diversity Scholarships are awarded each year to TCHC youth based on academic excellence, financial eligibility and volunteer involvement in community leadership, anti-racism or diversity initiatives. The scholarships promote youth empowerment, diversity and community safety in Toronto. Students receive up to $4,000 to pursue post-secondary studies or professional training.

City of Toronto drop-in and registered programs
- Free youth drop-in and registered programs in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, dance, music, and visual arts

Lawrence Heights Enhance Youth Space (EYS)
- EYS are supervised spaces open to youth seven days a week. Spaces have amenities like WiFi, gaming consoles, computers, and study spaces.
- Programs include life skills building, employment readiness, continuing education supports, entrepreneurship, civic and community engagement.
- Programs respond to the diverse and changing interests of local youth.

Community Youth Nights
- Drop-in program for youth aged 10 to 24.
- Youth can enjoy a meal, play sports, join a dance group, swim, take classes or socialize with their peers.

School's Out, Rec In programs
- Drop-in program for youth aged 13 to 17
- July 2 to August 15, 2025
- Activities include basketball, soccer, tennis, multi-sport games and more

- Building Skills through Recreation (BSTR) is an employment readiness program offered by the City of Toronto
- Youth Outreach Workers (YOWs) support youth aged 13 to 24
- Recreation Liaison Youth and Family Supports is a way for Toronto Employment and Social Services (TESS), Parks and Recreation (PR), and Toronto Public Health (TPH) to come together to serve families who receive Ontario Works (OW) benefits.

Limitless Heights Education Enrichment Pursuits (LHEEP) Labs
- LHEEP empowers youth through STEAM and community-led innovation.
- This summer, LHEEP labs is excited to host two immersive workshop series:
- Workshop 1: Engineering for Community Sustainability - Youth participants will gain hands-on experience designing soil-free vertical garden systems and learn about food sustainability and explore engineering concepts including aerodynamics, structural integrity, mechanical systems and materials science. No experience needed—just a willingness to learn, build, and collaborate.
- Workshop 2: Innovation & Mentorship for a Resilient Future - Presented in partnership with York University, this unique program combines mentorship, creative exploration, and content creation for youth envisioning prosperous, purpose-driven futures through the lens of renewable energy and community healing.

Lawrence Heights Parent Association
- The Lawrence Heights Parents Association supports youth and parents who are facing serious challenges such as gun violence, mental health struggles, and community trauma. They provide culturally sensitive counselling, advocacy, and guidance to help families heal and move forward.
