Toronto Community Housing welcomes 28 new employees through the Apprenticeship Cleaning Program "We're committed to being part of vibrant neighbourhoods where our tenants are connected to opportunities to succeed," said Keiko Nakamura, CEO of Toronto Community Housing. "Action at the local level, like this apprenticeship program, helps to improve social and economic conditions in the communities where we operate and our tenants live."

As part of an initiative with the Centre for Digital Story Telling, Sureya prepared a short documentary about her move to a new home.

A garden, a car company and the power to surprise Picture it! Two Kia cars arrive in a community, with seedlings and soil. The drivers get out of the cars, the neighbourhood comes to life and together everyone works to build a beautiful garden.... but things like that only happen on television, right?
